Opening times are between Easter weekend and the last weekend in October on Saturdays and Bank Holidays 11am - 5pm, Fridays and Sundays 2pm - 5pm.

Education Officer
Sarah Perrott has been appointed to work part-time for the Trust as Education Officer. Sarah started in November 2007 and her first task was to produce garden trails for children and plan the educational programme for 2008. Any volunteers interested in helping should write to her at Hill Close Centre, Bread & Meat Close, Warwick CV32 6HF.
Weekend and School Holidays
Every weekend Children's Garden Trails, 80p per child
Three fun activities for children under 12 years. Join Lottie the ladybird, Henry the hedgehog and Art the amazing time travelling ant on their new trails around the gardens. Weekend adult admission charges apply.
Wednesday, August 13 - Heritage Education's Big Bug Hunt - 10 am to 12 noon and 11 am to 1 pm, £5 per child, accompanying adults free
We’re going on a Bug Hunt, are you coming too? Join Steven Falk, Keeper of Natural History, for a bug hunt at Hill Close Gardens . Find out who lives in the trees and in the compost bin. Make a dragonfly to take home. Spaces are limited, booking is essential. To book a place please telephone Rebecca Williams on 01926 412034. All ages welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Thursday, August 21 - Teddy Bears' Picnic - 2 pm to 4 pm, £2 per child up to 6 yrs, accompanying adults free
Make a teddy bear collage, teddy bear ears and take your bear to the 'Bear Doctor'. Then enjoy a picnic for you and your bear. Booking essential, please contact the Centre Manager tel: 01926 493339. Don't forget to bring your favourite teddy bear and a picnic rug!
Saturday, September 6 - Meet the Victorians - 11 am to 5 pm
Step back in time with your family to discover more about the history of the Gardens. children can play the games that Victorian children played. No need to book, weekend admission charges apply.
Sunday, October 19 - Apple Day and Country Crafts - 11 am to 5 pm
A day out for all the family, find out about the variety of apples grown and enjoy lots of apple activities. Fun for all ages! No need to book, weekend admission charges apply.
Friday, October 31 - Children's Halloween Party - 3 pm to 5 pm, £2 per child up to 8 yrs, accompanying adults free
Halloween arts and crafts followed by a tea party. Booking essential, please contact the Centre Manager tel: 01926 493339.
